OpenAI Just did an Apple and signaled the end of AI Content Assistants.
You have been living under a proverbial rock (which sometimes does sound lovely) if you haven't heard of ChatGPT by now. OpenAI’s dialogue-based content model lit up Twitter and can hold eerily accurate conversations. Not just that. It can do whatever Jasper.ai, Copy.ai, and [your name here] can do- and do much better.
Sure. Jasper and others have fancy editors, but I would argue that those are typically not used to format outgoing content. That is the job of the content editor, where the post or content can get published.
Also- they are just not that good. Read an excellent review here: https://medium.com/swlh/can-ai-write-anything-vaguely-human-sounding-be6602b3fdc7
So- ChatGPT, in those cases, will actually do just fine. And the dialogue-based interaction (read: chatbot) works amazingly well to Brainstorm ideas, create outlines, and generate content.
Millions of people have already used it. That is by order of magnitudes more than the top 10 content assistant providers combined. In less than a week!
